In 1987 Ms. writer and editor Mary Thom compiled and published a selection of letters to the editor that the magazine had received since its inception in 1972. Now more than 35 years later we’ll gather together to hear some of those letters read aloud and see how far we have (or have not) come.
Join us at 6pm before the reading to page through the book – and if you choose you can take a turn reading alongside our group of talented performers in a kind of “Letters to the Editor Karaoke.” There’s something for everyone in this collection and we welcome women men and people outside of the gender binary to join us on stage.
